Grace, Chloe and Saige

Julia began work on a brand new book yesterday, this one about a group of teenage friends:

Grace, Chloe and Saige
by J.C. Rowe

Woah.  J.C. Rowe??  How very J.K. Rowling of her!
And also.  Is the blonde balancing an apple on top of her head?  Is this the story of William Tell?

"Grace, Chloe and Saige are best friends.  'That was delishas ice cream,' said Grace.  'Well I'm still haveing mine.  WOCH OUT GRACE!"

Oh my gosh.  What's going to happen??  Is William Tell about to shoot his arrow at their heads??

"Ooooooohi,' siad Chloe.  'Stop laphing Saige.'  'Well,' she splluder'd. 'We have to clean you up Grace,'  'Be nice Saige.'  Saige glair'd at her.  'FINE,' she said."

Okay.  So it's the cherry from her ice cream on Grace's head??  How did she get the cherry on her head?  Balanced so perfectly?  Where did the rest of the ice cream go?  And, seriously, what on earth is Saige's problem??  That girl's got a 'TUDE.

"The next day was the last day of scool.  Gradowating Day.  'You know, I think I like it with my haire down, Saige.'  'Oh look it's Paige and Dillan on thair first day of hie school."

So, wait, do we not get any resolution to the ice cream/cherry on head story arc?  All of a sudden they're just gradowating?  And why are Paige and Dillan starting hie school on gradowation day?  Or has an entire summer lapsed without explanation between the two pages?

"Um  hello I'm Paige.  Wairs the hisschol room?'  'We'll show you."

And that's where Julia has left off in this grand adventure.  What will happen next?  My prediction: at lunch in the cafeteria, while Paige and Dillan eat hamburgers, Dillan will suddenly yell: "WOCH OUT PAIGE!" and Paige will unexpectedly have a pickle slice on her head.

To see if my prediction holds water, and to find out more about the hie school adventures of these crazy kids, stay tuned for more chapters by J.C. Rowe!
