This afternoon, in the middle of a flute lesson that I was giving to Julia, Madeleine decided to engage in some wordless pretend play in the room we were in. As you can see, this was not distracting AT ALL:
I still don't even know what the heck was happening in her pretend play world. Baseball cap: check. Sunglasses: check. Empty egg carton: check. Somehow those three items add up to something amazing in Madeleine's mind.
Even though she doesn't play the flute, she somehow included herself in the lesson!
