Madeleine makes mayhem

Madeleine apparently wanted to listen to some music and decided to take matters into her own hands, because a few minutes ago, "Free To Be You and Me" came blasting through the speakers at startling top-volume. I guess I'm going to have to be careful about taking out any CDs we listen to as soon as we're done. That way, if Madeleine continues to ignore my "no no touch" warning about the stereo, even if she turns the volume dial to max and presses random buttons, we won't bruise our ear drums. Unless she accidentally turns on the radio, that is.

Before getting into stereo mischief, Madeleine got her hands all over feverish, croupy Julia's plate of toast and decided to try and take a bite of the paper plate and put her mouth all over it. I think it's safe to say that if germs had not already been exchanged, they have now. Big sigh.

And finally, Julia's little house is still a source of happy entertainment for both kids, although they've decided that rather than crawling inside or sitting up through the opening I cut out, it's a lot more fun to just climb on top of the box and sit on it, stand on it, and bounce on it.
