So, remember back in the early fall when Madeleine was O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D. with the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance? She has gone through several other obsessions since, from Stranger Things to Keeper of the Lost Cities, but she still has a deep fan worship for those Gelflings and the Dark Crystal world. What better way to show her fandom than by learning to perform her FAVORITE piece of music, "Speak for the Dead," on her newly learned instrument? With school all online and no school band rehearsals, playing music at home is the only way to keep Madeleine working on her flute, which she only started learning this past school year. I arranged a trio version of this piece so that the three Rowe flautists could play together. Sometimes Madeleine even has her Deet and Rian Funko Pop figures sit on the piano as an audience while we practice. They weren't there today, but YOU can be our audience, as we got it on video!:
I think the Podlings would be especially proud of our flutistry, no?
