May (aka Julia) and Emily (aka Madeleine) attended their ballet class this afternoon, while Victoria (aka me) opted out due to her (real-life) lower back pain. Instead, I, Victoria, got the pleasure of video-recording the girls with the grace of hippos as they twirled and leapt about the living room:
Best of all, perhaps, was that after the ballet, and subsequent gymnastics, classes were over, as Ethan helped Madeleine change out of her tutu and back into her regular clothes, she looked up at him, perturbed, and grabbed at her chest, imploring, "Dad? Can you take THIS nipple off?"
I have no words.
