More Lorax Preparations

Preparations for the Lorax party continue, with Julia adding more and more posters to our "movie theater" with each passing day.  Some of the latest decorations include pictures of Truffula trees:

The Once-ler in his decrepit old house:

And then there's this somewhat mystifying poster:
In case you're wondering, this is a sign to indicate that A) there is no screaming allowed during the viewing, and B) viewers are under direct order to have fun.  It turns out the blue-headed, three-legged jellyfish thing is a person screaming, despite the lack of a mouth, and the horizontal red line across the screaming jellyfish is actually representative of the diagonal slash one would see in a No Parking symbol.  The red circle, which I initially was afraid said "FU!" is actually the word "fun."  Next time I'll encourage Julia to write the word out first and then draw a circle around it, rather than vice versa.  SO.  If you want to attend our Lorax party, you've been warned.  You absolutely MUST have fun, and if you dare to scream, you're OUTTA THERE.

I'm still wondering if the girls will be sick of watching "The Lorax" by next weekend, which is our scheduled "party" date, since they continue to watch it every single day.  However, so far their enthusiasm for the movie is unflagging.  One of their favorite aspects of the film is the song "How Bad Can It Be," which everyone in the house has stuck in his or her head at this point.  If you're not familiar with the song, you can hear it through this link:

Below, the girls perform their own renditions of this new favorite song:

  2. I think my favorite part is Madeleine's "Oh sure!" to you.

The real question is, how often is that song stuck in YOUR head every day?? Haha.
