Madeleine has been the lucky recipient of belated birthday gifts this weekend, as her aunties and Yiayia presented her with presents. She is so enthralled with a new dress she received that she has insisted on wearing it for the past two days straight. The dress isn't even the half of it, though; Madeleine is convinced that upon putting on this dress, she transforms into Cinderella. Therefore, in order to truly embody her new identity, she absolutely insists upon wearing a bun and a crown. She has spent all day today prancing about the house in this get-up:
Not to worry about her total loss of identity, though. She still remains Madeleine at heart. Nothing speaks to that more than her choice of color while frosting Halloween cookies with her aunties today:
I'm not sure she got quite enough black frosting all over the plate, though.
